INTRODUCTION
In the summer of 2025, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University will host the "Ecological Agriculture and Culture Heritage" International Summer School which is also a Young Envoys Scholarship(YES) Program of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). This program aims to offer international students an immersive and enriching educational journey. Participants will engage in academic seminars, hands-on workshops, and cultural excursions to deepen their understanding of ecological agriculture while also experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Academic Seminars and Workshops:
Ø Ecological Agriculture: Attendees will gain insights into sustainable farming techniques, ecological preservation, and how modern technology can be seamlessly integrated into agricultural practices.
Ø Dairy Technology: Students will delve into the cutting-edge developments in dairy processing, quality assurance, and the significant role dairy plays in enhancing global food security, as evidenced by the industry's rapid growth and the adoption of innovative technologies.
Cultural Experiences:
Ø Historical Sites: Visits to museums and ancient sites to understand the historical and cultural significance of Inner Mongolia.
Ø Inner Mongoliam Arts Performance: Visit Inner Mongolia University of Art, experience the traditional Mongolian dance and throat singing (Khöömei).
Ø Modern Enterprises: Tours of leading agricultural and dairy companies to witness cutting-edge innovations and technological advancements in action.
Ø Cultural Activities: Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Inner Mongolia's traditional festivities, such as the exhilarating horse riding at the Naadam Festival, the soul-stirring melodies of traditional music, and the vibrant dance performances that echo through the steppes.
Field Trips:
Ø Grassland Exploration: Explore the Inner Mongolian grasslands and immerse yourself in their expansive beauty and cultural richness, as experienced by over 1.2 million visitors at the Nadaam festival, a celebration of Mongolian heritage through traditional sports and festivities.
Ø Local Organic Farm: Step into the world of organic farming by visiting and actively participating in workshops that teach traditional techniques.
Ø Dairy Processing Plant: Tour a local dairy processing plant and participate in quality testing workshops.
COST
Inner Mongolia Agricultural University will cover the expenses for participants during their stay, including accommodation, meals, transportation, and course materials. Participants are responsible for their international travel to and from China.
INSURANCE
Inner Mongolia Agricultural University will provide comprehensive medical insurance for all international students throughout their program duration.
VISA
The Visa-free policy is very friendly to the European participants. Holders of ordinary passports who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, or transit for no more than 15 days may enter the country without a visa.
ELIGIBILITY
l Current full-time college students holding a valid passport of Italy, France or other EU countries.
l The ideal age range is 18 to 35 years old. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be admitted with more lenient conditions.
l Students with an interest in agriculture, culture heritage, or environmental science.
l Students who are eager to experience a new culture and build international connections.
